Worth Waiting For is a multimedia abstinence and moral purity educational program designed for implementation in both the secular and faith arenas. It uses the arts to convey the message of moral purity. The ministry is facilitated totally by peer educators.

Patricia Pearl, a former teacher, founded the ministry in 1997. The ministry was initially designed to reach inner city youth, but now ministers to inner city, rural, suburban and inter-national youth, through mission trips.

The Vision of Worth Waiting For is to help generate change in the cultural attitude and behavior regarding sex outside of marriage. To increase abstinence until marriage among adolescents.

May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The one who calls you is faithful and he will do it.

1 Thess. 5:23-24
